"Poppy" is a Big Friendly
Neutered Male Cat Tan & Black Tiger Stripe. He was found the end of July
2008 in the Hanover Park-Schaumburg area. Since he was not Micro-chipped
we were unable to locate his owner so he is available for adoption. |

"Humphrey" is an extremely lovable Gray Neutered & Declawed Male Cat who is approx. 10 (plus) years of age. When “Humphrey” was first found along a country road west of Elgin just off Randall & Umberstock Rd. around the 1st of Sept.2008, he weighed under five lbs & was just skin & bones. At one time he probably was a big cat. Upon placing him in Caring Arms he quickly began to Purr as if to Thank God for sending someone to rescue him. As it turned out “Humphrey” has acquired a rather large Medical Bill at the Vet’s & we now have reason to believe that He wasn’t a Lost Cat after all & that his owner just discarded him rather than deal with his medical problems. He also acquired His name in Honor of the Vet. Who provided His medical care, Dr. Humphrey. |

"Callie" is a spayed Female Tortie who is 13 years old & has lived her entire life with her loving & caring owner ever since she was just a kitten & up until her beloved owner & our dear friend passed away on Aug. 25, 2008. Her owner loved & spoiled Callie & before she passed away she had asked us to find another loving home with a caring person who would continue to love & care for her as she had done for 13 years. |

"Bootsie" is a neutered Black &
White 9lb male that is approx. 2 yrs. old. His original owner lived on
Perry St. in Elgin & she didn't want him any longer so she tossed him
outside to fend for himself. A really nice senior who lived near by felt
sorry for him & began to feed him outside for almost a year until she
felt sorry for this little fellow as he struggled to fight the elements
of the cold winter so she contacted us to rescue him. He is a lovable
guy looking for a lovable family. |

Cry Baby is a 10 lb neutered male who became homeless after his owner passed away & his house was put up for sale & he was tossed outside to fend for himself. So, he took refuse in a neighbors garage where he was rescued. He got his name because for the first several months he would shed tears for the loss of his owner & his home. |

#7502 Cosmo & #7503 Gizmo are brothers. Both are Black & White neutered males and were born in June or July 2006. These Boys were rescued living in a woods in C'ville along with 2 other siblings & their mother. |

#7082 Tillie is a gray tiger stripe spayed female #7083 Zoe & #7084 Zelda both black spayed females. These 3 are sisters & were born approx. May 2006. These girls were rescued from a Hoarders house in Elgin where we rescued over 30 cats & kittens so they didn't receive alot of attention & are anxious to be adopted into a loving & caring home. In March 2007 we rescued another 20 cats & 3 litters of kittens & another female cat that was pregnant from this same place. |

2 views of "Gussie" who is a Tiger stripe with white & is a neutered 12 lb Male that was rescued Oct. of 2007 in Elgin. He is a very friendly & playful guy & would be a wonderful companion. Just when I think that I have heard everything, I found out after taking Gussie to the Vet. that he already had a micro chip & that when he was just a kitten he had been stolen from a local animal shelter. So not only was this person irresponsible in caring for Gussie by not having him neutered & letting him outside, they were a thief as well. I also believe that this person lives somewhere in Elgin off of Walnut Ave. |

# 7717 Dollie is a 9.6 lb tiger stripe spayed & declawed female. Dollie is a real sweetie & I'm sure she must have been someone's cat. She is approximately 1-2 yrs. of age & was rescued in aurora living under someone's deck. |

Kirby is a sweet heart & originally resided in Hyde Park, Chicago before she was dumped on a farm in Oswego by her owner Tara Kelsick & was near starvation when rescued. Kirby likes to be carried around with her front legs wrapped around your neck for a feeling of security. |
